ஒருநாள், இவானா தனது கல்லூரி பணிபுரியும் பேராசிரியரோடு ஓடிவிட்டார் என்ற செய்தியறிந்து வீட்டில் அனைவரும் உறைந்து போகின்றனர்.

இவானா வயிற்றில் குழந்தையோடு கல்லூரி பேராசிரியர் உடன் ஓடிப்போன அவமானம் தாங்க முடியாமல் தூக்கு மாட்டிக் கொண்டு இறந்து விடுகிறார்கள்.

Ministry of Skill Development and Entrpreneurshipfacilitates strategic partnership for the implementation of PMJANMAN scheme

December 29, 2023, Chennai: National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), and Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs,today signed an MoU for the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Abhiyaan (PMJANMAN)Scheme in Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) habitations. The partnership is a strategic plan to converge efforts towards attaining the vocational education and skilling component under the scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE, said, “in the quest for an equitable society, skilling will play a transformational role in upgrading the livelihood opportunities of the tribal groups. The arts, crafts and culture of these groups have been celebrated for ages, but the PMJANMAN scheme will bring it to the centre stage to be experienced by all and to be part of it. In this context, the vision of the scheme draws no parallel and I am thankful that MSDE will play such a crucial role to bring it to life”.

As part of the MoU, TRIFED, which is the nodal agency appointed for implementing PVTGs Van Dhan VikasKendras (VDVKs) by the Ministry of Tribal affairs under the scheme, will facilitate the coordination with State Implementation Agencies (SIAs) for mobilization of community to form VDVKs, provide tools and equipment, map VDVKs as per the list of PVTGs habitations and share knowledge on possible areas of economic activities for establishing sustainable VDVKs.

NIESBUD, on the other hand, will undertake mobilization for formation of aggregated groups, assess the training needs of respective VDVKs, develop training modules as per assessment and conduct training through identified training institutions or mentoring agencies. The training provided by NIESBUD will focus on financial literacy, value addition through use of upgraded equipment, creating market linkages and development of business acumen amongst the target groups.

The PMJANMAN scheme will equip the PVTG households and habitations with basic facilities such as safe housing, clean drinking water and sanitation, improved access to education, health and nutrition, road and telecom connectivity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. With a total outlay of Rs.24,104 crore, an amount of Rs.15,000 crore will be made available to implement the Mission in the next three years under the Development Action Plan for the Scheduled Tribes (DAPST).

ஷாருக்கான் – ராஜ்குமார் ஹிரானி கூட்டணியில் உருவான ‘டங்கி’ திரைப்படம், உலகம் முழுவதும் 250 கோடி ரூபாயை வசூலித்து, இந்த ஆண்டின் சிறந்த வசூல் செய்த திரைப்படத்திற்கான பட்டியலில் இடம் பிடித்திருக்கிறது.‌

இந்தத் திரைப்படத்தை பார்வையிட்ட பார்வையாளர்களின் வலிமையான வாய்மொழி பரப்புரையால் படத்தின் வசூல் நாள்தோறும் அதிகரித்துக் கொண்டே செல்கிறது.‌

‘பதான்’ மற்றும் ‘ஜவான்’ ஆகிய திரைப்படங்களுக்கு பிறகு இந்த ஆண்டில் ஷாருக்கான் நடிப்பில் வெளியான ‘டங்கி’ திரைப்படம்- இந்தியாவில் மட்டும் 100 கோடி ரூபாய் கிளப்பில் நுழைந்த மூன்றாவது திரைப்படமாகும். இத் திரைப்படம் சுமார் 29.25 கோடி ரூபாய் முதல் 30.25 கோடி ரூபாய் வரை வசூலித்து, ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமையன்று அதன் மொத்த வசூல் 102. 50 கோடியாக இருந்தது. இதன் மூலம் நூறு கோடி ரூபாய் கிளப்பில் இணைந்த ஷாருக்கானின் பத்தாவது படமாக ‘டங்கி’ இடம்பெற்றது. இந்த திரைப்படத்தின் வசூல் நாளுக்கு நாள் அதிகரித்து வரும் நிலையில் தற்போது இத்திரைப்படம் 250 கோடி ரூபாயை எட்டி, 250 கோடி ரூபாய் கிளப்பில் இணைந்திருக்கிறது.

Chennai, 26^thDec 2023: In line with its commitment to the cause of Road Safety, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the implementation of two impactful road safety programs, namely the Toyota Safety Education Program (TSEP) and the Toyota Hackathon, aimed to educate, create awareness, instil a sense of responsibility, and empower the youths to become advocates for road safety. While TSEP is an interactive program targeting school children from 5^th – 9^th grades, educating them on the importance of road safety through a phase-wise approach, Toyota Hackathon provides a platform for 11^th – 12^th graders to develop effective road safety solutions.

Both these road safety programs offered by Toyota (TSEP was launched in 2007 and Hackathon during 2018) have successfully reached over 790,000 school children to date, bringing about a positive change in the behaviour as road users. This year, TSEP will be implemented across Bangalore & nearby districts,focusing to cover more than 20,000 students across 40+ schools. The learning modules under the TSEP programcovers interactive content and assessment, club activities for experiential learning, intra-school club activity sessions and conducting annual event to encourage children to demonstrate their understandingabout the road safety, thereby helping in creating ‘Road Safety Ambassadors’. The program’s unique ‘Child to Community’ approach aims to influence road safety practices within local communities and become a flagship project striving towards zero fatalities.

Simultaneously, the Toyota Hackathon, initiated in 2018, encourages children to become critical thinkersand solution providers for modern-day road safety challenges, while inspiring the young minds to learn from the innovations and incorporate solutions towards promoting road safety. For the academic year 2023-24, Toyota Hackathon is focusing to cover youths from the existing TSEP implementing schools & pre-universitycolleges, targeting around 100 institutes, both fromBangalore and nearby districts. The Toyota Hackathon broadly includes online and offline evaluation by conducting tests, screening & shortlisting of teams, building implementable road safety solutions with mentors, also incubation support for best innovations and participation of school children in 24 hours hackathon.

Some of the major causes of road accidents in Indiainclude breakdown & malfunction of poorly maintained older vehicles plying on the roads causing mishaps,inadequate road engineering, lack of understanding and non-following of road safety rules, behavioural issue such as over-speeding, not wearing helmets while riding, not wearing seatbelts while driving and so forth.In a continuing trend, most victims of road accidents are young. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive approach to road safety, TKM is committed to creatingawareness among future road users through its uniquely designed road safety initiatives with a focus on not only manufacturing ‘Safe Cars’ but also ensuring ‘People’s Safety on Roads’.
