ஆசிரியர் தின கொண்டாட்டம் காலை பத்து மணியளவில் எம் ஜி ஆர் அரங்கத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தமிழகத்தின் பள்ளிக்கரணை மாவட்ட காவல் உதவி ஆணையர் திரு. எஸ். ஜான் விக்டர் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக கலந்து கொண்டார். HCAS இன் இயக்குநர் டாக்டர். சூசன் வர்கீஸ், இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு தலைமை தாங்கினார். இவருடன் கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம் மற்றும் உயர் கல்வித் துறையைச் சார்ந்த முக்கிய பிரமுகர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

Chennai, April 28, 2026: SRM Group’s Easwari Engineering College inaugurated the Global Excellence Center for Robotics, established on its campus by Switzerland-based ABB Robotics, a global leader in robotics and machine automation. The new facility is the first of its kind in India and only the third such robotics centre in the world to be established by ABB Robotics.
The ABB Robotics-SRM Easwari Global Excellence Center features advanced AI-enabled robotic systems and intelligent automation labs, including 3D pin picking, palletising, spot and arc welding cells, service & maintenance units, and VR/digital simulation cells. The setup integrates cutting-edge domains such as autonomous mobile robots, generative AI, vision systems, IoT, PLC automation, digital twin technologies, and smart manufacturing solutions.

Envisioned as a hub for research, innovation, and interdisciplinary excellence, the ABB Robotics-SRM Easwari Global Excellence Center, will provide opportunities for the college’s students from diversified engineering streams – from mechanical to computer science, to gain hands-on experience in AI and robotics, innovate automation solutions for industries, and launch tech startups.
The establishment of this center is expected to attract increased consultancy and industry collaborations, strengthening ties between academia and industry while opening new avenues for research, innovation, and professional engagement. The conference was inaugurated today by Kalaimamani Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu, renowned lyricist and poet. Hon’ble Dr. Kovi. Chelian, Minister for Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, is scheduled to be the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Session.
The inaugural session saw the participation of distinguished guests, including Dr. M. Rajendran, Former Vice-Chancellor, Thanjavur Tamil University; Dr. Murugesu Dayanithi, Director and Head, Department of Tamil Language, National Institute of Education, Sri Lanka; Mr. Sandhya Natarajan, Proprietor, Sandhya Publications; Mr. Udan Kumar Chordia, Secretary, and Mr. Hemant P. Speaking on the significance of the conference, Mr. Udan Kumar Chordia said, “We are delighted to organise this conference, which envisions integrating multidisciplinary perspectives for Tamil students. On the objectives of the conference, Dr. E. Kothandaraman, Associate Professor, and Coordinator, Department of Tamil, AM Jain College, said, “A language must evolve alongside the scientific and technological advancements of society. Although Tamil is a vast and rich language encompassing multidisciplinary fields such as grammar, literature, history, linguistics, comparative literature, criticism, sociology, philosophy, music, medicine, and translation, it must also engage with contemporary scientific developments. Today, the world is rapidly advancing in areas like information technology, artificial intelligence, biology, and environmental studies. This conference aims to promote the integration of Tamil studies with these multidisciplinary perspectives, and help students gain a broader outlook and deeper understanding, encouraging independent thought and enabling them to address social issues through the lens of language and science.”

திருச்சி, ஏப்ரல் 17, 2025: டால்மியா சிமென்ட் (பாரத்) லிமிடெட்டின் கார்ப்பரேட் சமூகப் பொறுப்புணர்வுப் பிரிவான டால்மியா பாரத் அறக்கட்டளை (DBF), அதன் முதன்மை திறன் மேம்பாட்டுத் திட்டமான DIKSHa இன் கீழ் பயிற்சி பெற்ற இளைஞர்களின் சாதனைகளை அங்கீகரித்து கொண்டாட டால்மியாபுரத்தில் ஒரு பாராட்டு விழாவை நடத்தியது. மொத்தம் 77 பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு அந்தந்த படிப்புகளை வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்ததற்காக சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. பயிற்சியாளர்களில், வீட்டு சுகாதார உதவியாளர் (HHA) பாடநெறியில் 27 இளைஞர்கள் சுகாதாரத் துறையில் வேலைவாய்ப்புகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர், மாதத்திற்கு ரூபாய்15,000 முதல் ரூபாய்24,000 வரை சம்பளம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. கூடுதலாக, 50 பெண்கள் தையல் இயந்திர ஆபரேட்டர்களாகப் பயிற்சி பெற்றனர், வேலைவாய்ப்பைத் தொடர அல்லது சொந்த தொழில்முனைவோர் முயற்சிகளைத் தொடங்க அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான தையல் திறன்களை வழங்கினர். இந்த விழா பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கும் அவர்களது குடும்பங்களுக்கும் ஒரு பெருமையான தருணமாக அமைந்தது, அடிமட்ட மட்டத்தில் அர்த்தமுள்ள மாற்றத்தைக் கொண்டுவருவதற்கான DBF இன் தொடர்ச்சியான முயற்சிகளை வலுப்படுத்தியது.
