Chennai, June 10, 2024: Madras Maplai, a young and unique hospitality brand from Chennai, has opened its first multi-cuisine, fine-dining restaurant near Anna Flyover. Actor and comedian Mr. Balan Aakash, famously called KPY Bala, inaugurated the restaurant today. In a heartwarming gesture, the restaurant welcomed around 50 orphaned children and are treated with ‘Maplai Virundhu’, a sumptuous south Indian feast.
Occupying 4,000 square feet space at Gemini Parsn Manere, Anna Salai, Nungambakkam, the restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring cuisines of Andhra, Chettinad, North India, and Chinese. Its signature items are Maplai Virundhu, Madras Maplai Mutton Chukka, Manga Era Varuval, Arati Aaku Kodi, and Andhra Bhojanam.
The restaurant is open from 11:30 am to 11:30 pm. It can cater to about 150 guests at a time. Its party hall can host about 50 guests – and the private dining cabin can accommodate 12-15 guests. In celebration of its inauguration, Madras Maplai is offering a complimentary dinner for couples getting married between June 10 and June 30, 2024.
